I don’t think you should do either of them. You’re in a relationship with someone because you love that person. You don’t love a person because of what he/ she give gifts that you don’t like. It’s not the present that counts, it’s the thought that counts. Giving a present to someone means that you care about that someone whatever the present/s are and also being there for them.
